So my driving companion (pictured below, waiting patiently in the truck) and I were on our way back from a fairly substantial drive when I spotted this place on the side of the highway. It's rather unique, as abandoned houses go, in terms of its shape and layout.
It's not in the greatest of conditions. The walls are separating from each other and the foundation. The floor was by no means level or solid and certainly I was not going to trust it to hold me that well. I risked the stairs, but only briefly as I checked out the bedrooms from a distance. I didn't like the look of any of the ceiling, let alone the floor above.
After a short visit, and letting the dog file his afternoon report we were back on our way again.
Update January 17, 2020:
At some point this house has been demolished. I will attempt to determine a more precise date.
