I first opened a website, MikeOnline.ca, in 2006. Part of it, urbex.mikeonline.ca became my primary focus. So much so, in fact, that the site then became urbexobsession.com. You can see where that was going.
Everything on the site in those days was exclusively about the hobby of Urban Exploration, focused mostly on abandoned places. Gradually, other locations began to bleed in that, while not abandoned, were of interest historically. Now, after the complete destruction of the original site, I have broadened my focus and will look at just about anything that interests me.
To speed me on my way, I've employed the Drupal Content Management System. I use many different cameras, and countless silly ideas when photographing the pictures you'll see on the site. Sometimes you'll see videos. Where possible I research history, and find photos of what places used to look like.
