Each year I, and some of my coworkers, have the opportunity to take in an event called eLive, or Ellucian Live. This event is held in different cities each year, and offers and excellent opportunity to learn, meet people who face the same challenges as we do, and sometimes even have the opportunity to help each other out. The vendors set up in the large hall of the convention centre and show us what's new this year, and how they can help us. It's very informative!
In addition to the work aspect of the trip, however, we have the opportunity to take in the local scenery and culture that the host city has to offer. Anyone who has been to New Orleans knows that the scenery and culture here can take up an entire trip by itself.
The food is amazing, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the live music coming from the bars pulls you in almost physically.
This was the second year I had attended eLive in New Orleans, and I still managed to find so many new things to check out and explore while I was there. Â
